Our Story - mobiVET

MobiVET is proud to be a family run, independent small animal mobile veterinary service, based in Aberkenfig, Bridgend, South Wales.

We opened in June 2020, with a dedication to provide affordable and accessible End Of Life Care, and Veterinary Care at home.

Since then our husband and wife team, has grown to welcome a wonderful 16 members of the team from Veterinary Surgeons to Veterinary Nurses and everyone in-between.

We believe that providing veterinary care in the comfort of your pets home, promotes the relationship between your pet and our veterinary team. Veterinary visits at home avoid all aspects of unnecessary stress and anxiety for your pets, also our service provides ease of use for pet owners that are unable to attend our veterinary practice in Aberkenfig, Bridgend.

We provide a wonderfully unique mobile veterinary service for our patients and their owners across South Wales, we offer a range of veterinary services in your pets home environment to include;

Routine Consultations (for illness and wellness)
Vaccinations & Microchip Implantation
Kitten and Puppy Packs
Diagnostic Services (Blood testing, Urine testing, Cytology and Microbiology)
Ultrasound Scanning (Abdominal, Cardiac and Gestational)
Therapeutic and Post-Operative Laser Therapy
Blood Pressure Health Checks
Nail Clipping and Anal Glands Expressing
Heat Diffusing Imaging for Lumps, Bumps and Masses
Dental Health Checks
End of Life Care Services, to include Cremation Services

*Please note all home visit incur a home visit fee of £25.00

Additionally to our mobile veterinary service, we offer a state of the art, modern veterinary practice in the heart of Aberkenfig, Bridgend for all of our inpatient needs. Our practice is available to all clients and pets registered to our care.

Such a relief to have found Mobivet and to be able to have an ultrasound & bloods taken for my big boy,Ziggy at home .

Wish I found this vet sooner- really friendly lady answers the phone, lovely personality, genuine.

Vlad the vet arrived- just brilliant, asked questions other vets hadn't, I had intended to put my cat to sleep.

He identified a couple of things , and has given us hope, if this works, he has saved my cat life.
